Taco Soup

Simple dish that is flavorful and inexpensive. Besides being incredibly easy to make, it is healthy (If you pass on the optional ingredients. Even then it isn’t too bad) This recipe is enough to feed a family of 6. If you have a smaller family, you will have plenty of left overs for lunch which it is just as good the next day. 

Taco Soup Recipe
  1. • 1 Can of Corn
  2. • 1 can of Black Beans
  3. • 2 Regular cans of diced tomatoes
  4. • 1 Can of Rotel
  5. • 1 4 oz can of green chilies
  6. • 1 packet of taco seasoning
  7. • 1 packet of ranch mix
  8. • 1 lb of lean ground beef
  9. • Optional: Sour cream, shredded cheese, avocado, tortilla chips
  1. Brown meat, drain.
  2. In a large crock pot, dump the corn, beans, tomatoes, rotel, chilies, both seasoning packets and browned meat. DO NOT drain the cans. Mix thoroughly. Cook on low for 2-4 hours.
  3. Top your soup with the optional items.
