Crescent Cinnamon Sugar Cream Cheese

Fast, easy, and oh so sweet. These take just minutes to prepare and can be a wonderful breakfast or a sweet treat.

  1. • Crescent rolls (store brand work fine and I like to use the reduce fat)
  2. • ¼ Cup Sugar
  3. • ¼ Cup Brown sugar
  4. • Half a stick of butter or margarine
  5. • 1 ounce of Cream cheese
  6. • 1 Tablespoon of Cinnamon
  7. • Egg and Table spoon of water for egg wash (optional)
  8. • Powdered Sugar and milk for glaze (optional)
  1. Mix sugar, brown sugar, butter, cream cheese, and cinnamon in a bowl. Unroll crescent rolls and spread the mixture on each roll. Roll each one up, trying to fold edges in so the filling doesn’t bubble out too much.
  2. Place on parchment paper lined baking sheet and brush tops with egg wash (optional: mix egg and tablespoon of water).
  3. Bake according to package directions. Note: I found that I needed to bake longer because of the filling.
  4. Mix powdered sugar with milk. I don’t have exact measurements. I dump around 1/3 cup of sugar in a bowl and add a teaspoon of milk or two until I get the desired consistency. Use this to drizzle on the top of your rolls once they are removed from the oven. (Optional)
