Oreo Chocolate Cheese Cake Balls

 This is a super simple recipe and a way to make a plain Oreo cookie a bit fancier.

Ingredients
  1. • Oreos (double stuff)
  2. • 1 tub of the new Philadelphia chocolate cream cheese (milk, dark, or white chocolate is fine)
  3. • White bark or white chocolate chips and shortening
Instructions
  1. In a food processor or in a plastic bag and using a rolling pin, crush the cookies.
  2. Mix the cream cheese and the cookies together.
  3. Form balls and then dip into the melted chocolate.
Notes
  1. You can save a little bit of the cookie to decorate the top. Make sure the chocolate isn’t over heated, as it will clump up. You can use the microwave to heat the bark, but I prefer a double boiler. It melts the chocolate slowly, but is hard to get it wrong if you use a low heat. I use an insert that fits most pans (see below). You place water in the bottom of your sauce pan and place the insert on top. Make sure the bottom of the insert is not in the water.
